
TAKE IT OFFLINE
Take it Offline is a competitive and engaging board game developed to teach the creative process while simulating agency life. The game mechanics were carefully crafted to keep the game competitive and fun without feeling like an educational tool.
There are various challenges that a player must complete by themselves and with the cooperation of other players. The goal is to complete four creative process stages before moving onto the fifth and final stage. The creative process varies for each person. Through the game, we’ve identified 5 basics in the creative process, brainstorming, research, draft, feedback and finally polish. One persona spends more time on a specific stage than another. This was to give players the ability to strategize and adapt their process based on the persona they draw. Exposing them to the variety of ways the process can work.
The game is currently produced as a first-round prototype to demo play and take in feedback so edits can be made to optimize the game so it can put its best foot forward in its debut.
